PATERANGI.
The Weather ana Haymaking. The showery weather is impeding the late haymaking operations. Many farmers delayed cutting till after the holidays in the hope of getting fine weather, hut they are not meeting with any better success- than those who cut earlier. There were many crops cut and stooked ready to be gathered in on Monday, and when the morning broke wet much disappointment was experienced. However, two or three days without rain will see all the hay in. Personal. Mrs Guthrie and Miss McLean, of Mount Albert, spent the week-end at Paterangi, where they were the guests of their niece, Mrs G. McCallum.
