Mrs Dunnet and Miss Lcnore Dunnet, of Devonport, are visiting Hamilton as the guests of Mrs A. G. Sandford, Lake Road.

Mrs Carrick Robertson, Miss Joan Robertson and Miss Kitty Horsley, of Auckland, were in Hamilton during the week, and returned home yesterday, after a short tour of the Waikato.

Pulling, late headmistress of the Auckland Diocesan Girls' School, will arrive in Hamilton on Monday to present the prizes at the annual Speech Day of the Waikato Diocesan School. * * * * Miss Jean Macindoe, of Auckland, has been spending a few days in Hamilton. **• • * Mrs W. When her two daughters, Princess Arthur of Connaught and Lady Maud Carnegie, were schoolgirls they both had to study French with a French governess, even in the holidays. Mar Lodge. Like all our Royal Family, the Princess Royal and her daughters are kindness itself, and have that wonderful gift for remembering people. At Christmas, and always on her birthday, this same governess receives flowers and presents from her royal pupils.
