TAXI-DRIVER'S EVIDENCE
tnv Telegraph.—Press Association.) ( By lei 6 Wellington, Friday. Evidence was given at the Taita Gorge fatality inquest to-day by the 'Kxi-driver, Sergent. He said a car came round a corner in front of him. Witness did not stop, but swerved to fhP risht. Before he knew what had happened the car was over the bank. prior to the accident witness had been driving on the correct side of the r °\Vitncss was told he was not obliged to answer any question as to what liquor he had during the night, The inquest was adjourned till tomorrow.
