MR ZANE GREY.

TO ARRIVE ON MONDAY. THAMES, Thursday. Arrangements have been completed for the reception of the American noveUst and deep-sea angler, Mr. Zane Grey at Thames on Tuesday, prior to his departure for Mercury Bay, where he will establish a permanent camp from which he will explore the deepsea fishing areas. Mr Grey and his companion, Captain Mitchell, of Nova Scotia, are due to arrive on the Makura at Wellington on Monday. The party, which is receiving the hospitality of the Government in the way of r&ilway service, will take the first available train to Thames, via Franktow, arriving at Thames on Tuesday. Mr Grey's- party includes Captain and Mrs Mitchell, Mis-s K. Smith, secretary Mr. Tom Middleton, cinemalographer; and six launchmen, headed by Messrs. F. Arlidge, junr., and P. Williams Mr. Homer Grey and a friend will join the party early in January.
