ENJOYABLE PICNIC.

ANGLICAN SUNDAY SCHOOLS. HAPPY 'TIME SPENT. An enjoyable picnic was held at the Motor Camp, River Road, on Saturday afternoon by the St. Peter's' Hamilton East and Claudelands Sunday Schools. Tlie weather was fine and over 130 children were present. The children were conveyed to the ground by a number of voluntary helpers, and on arrival were given the freedom of the delightful surroundings. Games were indulged in and everyone was happy. Dean and Mrs. G. R. Barnett, Ivu. E. V. Stace, Mrs. M. Maning and Mrs. W. Dunstan had charge of the arrangements, which were admirably carried out. The children had plenty to eat and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The following were the results of the races:—Girls under S, Judith Redmond i, Iris Booth 2. Relay Race (girls), Claudelands 1. Relay Race (boys). Hamilton East) 1. Visit of Father Christmas. Father Christmas visited St. Peter's Kindergarten Sunday School on Saturday evening. The superintendent, Mrs M." Mailing, and her staff of teachers, Rad prepared a Christmas tree, from which were suspended many toys, bat - loons and candles. Dean G. R. Barnett urged the parents to continue to send their children to Sunday School. He paid a tribute to the splendid work of Mrs. Mailing and her staff, and congratulated those children who had earned special prizes for regular attendance. Father Christinas then appeared and distributed the prizes.
