The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson, accompanied by Captain Orr Ewing and Miss Dugdale, arrived at Ttmaru yesterday, and left later for Mount. Cook Hermitage, where they will remain for 10 days. Mr R. Coulter, Mayor of Te Aroha, was in Hamilton to-day. Mr Walter Monk, representing J. C. Williamson, Ltd., is in Hamilton. Nurses N. M. Gordon and I. Carter have resigned from the Waikato Hospital. Mr C. 11. Venirnore of Auckland, has taken over the duties of senior supervisor of telegraphs at Hamilton. Lieut.-Colonel R. C. Allen, of Morrinsville, was a recent caller at New Zealand House, London. Major J. C. Fillcry and Messrs W. H. Frost (Auckland), B. G. Diekerson, ,1. M. Dale, and 11.
