CITIZENS SPEAK TO PUPILS
Eleven schools were visited to-day by leading men, the subject of all the addresses being Citizenship. Several of the speakers emphasised the wider meaning given to the conception of citizenship by recent international activities and the formation of the League of Nations. The duty of service to community and State was pointed out, and in some instances the truth was made more inspiring by references to the noble deeds of some of the great servants of mankind.
