FAWCETT EXPEDITION. SEARCH PARTY RETURNS. ■ FROM BRAZILIAN JUNGLES. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Australian Press Association.) NEW YORK, Oct. 14. (Received October 15, 10.30 a-m.) Commander George Byott, who searched the Brazilian jungles for Colonel Fawcett, has returned. He found traces of the missing explorers, but doubts if they are still living. Colonel Fawcett undertook an exploring expedition into the Brazilian jungle, leaving in May, 1925. No word having been received from them, Commander Byott headed another expedition in the hope of locating them. The searchers have been out for several /: months.
