WEDDINGS.

BARLOW—PATTERSON. A very pretty wedding took place ta St. Mark's Church, Te Aroha, on Wednesday, when Gwendoline, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Patterson, "Brooklyn," Te Aroha, was married to Walter H. Bariow, son of Mr and Mrs Barlow, Frankton. Rev. R. L. Connolly officiated, the service being fully choral. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, looked charming in a lovely frock of cream crepe de chine relieved with silver lace. Her beautiful veil of Honiton lace was arranged j with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful bouquet of azaleas, stocks and roses. Miss Annie > Holed attended as bridesmaid and wore a pretty frock of phlox pink I crepe de chine, with a picture hat to j tone. Mr C. Barlow attended as best man. A reception was held after i the ceremony at the residence of the , bride's parents. j IHLE —ELLIS. ! ■ St. Andrew's Church, Epsom, was j the scene of the wedding of Miss Gwen Ellis, of Te Awamulu, youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs W. H. Ellis, of Waihi, and Mr Clarence Ihle, youngest son of Mr A. Ihle, of Palmerston North. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr A. J. Bond, of Mount Eden, wore a frock of powder-blue georgette, with relief of silver ribbon and lace. Her embroidered tulle veil, mounted on a coronet of orange blossoms, fell in graceful folds to form a train. She carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers and fern. In attendance upon her were two bridesmaids. Miss Vera j Adams and Miss Mary Bond. They wore French frocks of belladonna pink embroidered georgette, with headdresses of silver, and carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. . Little Thelma Adams was flower girl and wore a frock of embroidered net over silver' tissue. She carried a basket of flowers. The Rev. D. Willis was the officiating clergyman, and Mr R.
