WEEK-END ACCIDENTS.

COLLISIONS IN WAIKATO. CRASH AT WAITOA. At Waitoa on Saturday afternoon a motor lorry driven by Mr Alexander Gemmcll, a milking machine salesman, of Te Aroha, and a motor cycle and sidecar driven by Mr William Hutchinson, dairy factory employee, Morrinsville, collided. Accompanying Mr Hutchinson in the side-chair .was Mr Harry Tasker, whom he was giving a lift. When the lorry struck the cycle Mr Tasker was thrown out of the sidecar. Several of his ribs and one wrist were broken, and he was badly cut about the face. Hutchinson was more fortunate, and escaped with slight injuries. The motor cycle was badly damaged. Cars Meet at Te Rapa. On the Te Rapa road on Saturday evening a car driven by Mr Robert Richard Jones, farmer, of Te Hoe, and a car driven by Mr Hugh Douglas Adams, butcher, of Ilorotiu, collided. Mr Jones sustained slight injuries in the face. Both cars .were damaged. Car Badly Damaged. A light motor car suffered considerable damage in a collision at Newstead last evening. Mr D. Grimwood, of Hamilton, was driving the light car, which collided with a heavier car, driven by Mr J. Goombridge, of Hamilton. The occupants were not injured. footballer injured. LEFT LEG BROKEN. A young Maori, Jack Puru, sustained' a broken left leg while playing in a football match at Waerenga on Saturday afternoon.
