Cameron, Courtney, D. Bourke. Front Row: Holmes, C. Christie. Emergencies . Three - quarters : Allen. Five-eighths: Robson. Forwards: W. Bourke. THE PEACE CUP. RECORD TAKINGS. The takings at the gates at the football match at Morrinsville on Saturday, when the Peace Cup match between Morrinsville (holders and Thames (challengers) was played, amounted to £ll6, a record for the ground. As children, players, and officials were admitted free, and the juvenile clement was largely represented, £llO would represent an attendance of some 3000. The new grandstand was not half large enough to accommodate the crowd who applied for admission. THAMES VALLEY TEAM The following team has been selected to represent Thames Valley against Auckland on the 15th. inst.: —Fullback, Rare; thrccquarLers, McQuarters, Dillimoro and S. Goldsbury; flve-cighihs, Mcßae, Lockett; half, Snodgrass; rover, O. Cleave; forwards, Mace, Craig, Walters, Kelp, Frost, Mulgran * and O’Donaghue. Emergencies; Backs, Saunders; forward, Peacock.
