BRIDGE PARTY.

PLEASANT AFTERNOON’S PLAY. Miss Doris Clark entertained a number of friends to bridge on Saturday afternoon, when a very jolly time was i spent. Bowls of lovely anemones, daffodils and violets were arranged in the room, Mrs Clark wearing black embossed •'georgette, and Miss Doris Clark, flowered georgette. Afternoon tea was served on the wide verandah, the winner of the hidden score being Miss Cecille Chitty, and of the consolation, Miss .Margaret ClaytonGreene. Those present were:—Miss E Ward, Miss M. Ross, Miss C. Chitty, Miss M. Magill, Miss N. Jackson, Miss K. Wilson, Miss I. Hawkins, Miss A. Wilson, Miss I. Collier, Miss P. Hetherington, Miss H. Hcywood, Miss F. UaJl, Miss V. Watts, Miss M. ClaytonCreene, and Miss B. Manning.
