J. R. FOW & CO., LTD. J. R. Few & O0 3? LTD. COLLINGWOOD STREET. iWe are in the happy position of having had an extremely busy week in every department. Our Mattress Factory is now able to keep pace with orders, and we are selling mattresses -at a very small advance on Auckland factory prices, so that clients arc obtaining their bedding practically at wholesale prices, when rail freights are taken into account. The Furniture Factory has just completed a large order for some high-class oak furniture, and is now filling orders for special lines and stock. Our furniture consignment department has clients waiting for various lines in furnishings, and if you have furniture for sale, send it along promptly. The Poultry Market is very good just now, and our sale on Thursday was attended by a very large number of keen buyers. Apples, fowl feed, vegetables, honey, potatoes and fruit have attracted keen competition. This department has a ready sale on consignment for vegetables, and growers who have a surplus should send in at once. We offered two motor cars for sale this week, and a Ford car was sold under keen competition. A Maxwell car with nearly new battery, five good tyres and in good running order is still for sale at a very low price. This car is being sold by the Assignee of a bankrupt estate. See it at once. Make a regular practice of visiting our premises and see what new and secondhand bargains you can pick up. Our Land and Insurance Departments are finding business better than ever, and if courtesy and attention will do it, will have a record year’. The Arm of J. It. Fow and Co. has a big business to-day, but it is building for a bigger and better business to-morrow. J OHN JL F ow > Auctioneer. JMCHARD QOBBE, General Manager.
