Remove the bottom of tins with' a tin-opener, spread a piece of the paper over one end of each tin tightly. Bind paper around tin securely with cotton; pierce centre of each with needle; thread hole (from outside; with cotton; tie a short piece of a match on end to prevent cotton slipping through hole. The cotton should be of a considerable length—the longer the better. On the other end of cotton attach the other tin in the same way.
