OUTBREAK OF TYPHOID.
DEATH AT THAMES. THAMES, Tuesday, second death from typhoid fever occurred at the Thames Hofpital last evening the victim being the 13-yoar-ohl daughter of Mr and Mrs W. H. Kiohardson. The headmaster of the Thames South school, Mr J. Masefield, is seriously ill with typhoid fever. There is no reason to fear an epidemic of typhoid fever at Thames, said Dr. H."Chesson, medical officer of health. Or Chesson said the outbreak had probably been caused by the pollution of the water supply. The chlorination of the water should completely climinate the danger.
