FORTHCOMING ELECTION.
THE COUNTRY PARTY. MR KEEGAN’S TOUR. Mr P. Keegan, the official candidate of the Country Party, has returned to Cambridge, after completing his preliminary lour of the electorate. During his lour Mr Keegan visited 21 centres, and had really good meetings everywhere. As the result of organising and Mr Keegan’s activities, the party have now 26 branches in this electorate, each with a strong membership. THE ROSKILL SEAT. MISS MELVILLE CHOSEN. Miss Ellon Melville was chosen last evening to contest the Roskill seat at the general election in Lhc interests of the lie form Party. There were three aspirants for Reform honours: Miss Melville, Mr E. 11. Potter, Mayor of Mount Eden, and Mr I!. McK. Morrison, a member of the Mount Eden Borough Council. THE THAMES SEAT. MR McGREGOR A CANDIDATE. MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. Mr E. McGregor, solicitor, of Morrinsville, is announced as a candidate for Hie Thames seat In Hie interests of the United Party.
