TE KUITI RACING CLUB.
TE KUITI, Tuesday. The financial position of the Te Kuiti Racing Club is dealt with at some, length by the pres dent, Mr A. F Howarth, in the report to be pre sentcd at the annual meeting on report states that the club has passed through an extremely cnUca period during the twelve months just olosnd The meeting at Ellerslie resulted in a substantial profit, which has had the effect of putting the club on a- sound financial basis. All outstanding liabilities to date have been naid and the limit of the bank overdraft, which previously stood at £4OOO, has been permanently reduced to £2500. The present overdraft was well.within this limit. Regarding dates of race meetings, the report says the committee has been granted November 24 and 26, and the annual meeting will be held at Te Kuiti on these dates this year. Previously the meeting was held in Ihe Crst week in February.
