MISSIONARY AUXILIARY.
AT ST._ PAUL’S, LONDON STREET.
The monthly meeting of the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary was held at St. Paul’s, London Street, on Thursday afternoon. After the usual routine business had been dealt with and an interesting letter read from Sister Vivian Adkin, their latest sister to be sent to the Solomon Islands, Mrs Armitage, who has just recently resigned the matronsliip of the Methodist Mount Albert Orphanage, gave a most inspiring and enlightening address.
Mrs Jones, in returning thanks, assured the speaker that at the annual meeting to be held next month, the members would show "their appreciation in a practical manner by arranging for a gift afternoon in the way of clothing for the children. After afternoon tea the meeting closed.
