THE ALL BLACKS.
MATCH WITH FREE STATE NEW ZEALAND TEAM. A STRONG COMBINATION. (Special ttt Press Association.) (Received July 28, 8.55 a.m.) BLOEMFONTEIN, July 27. The New Zealand team for the match to-morrow against the Free State is:— Full-back: Lilburne. Threequarters: Rushbrook, Sheen, Lucas. Five-eighths: Strang and Johnson. Halfback: Dalley. Rover: Scrimshaw. Front row: Hore, Swain. Lock: Alley. Middle row: M. Brownlie and C. Brownlie. Back row: Ward, Snow. Some Alterations Made. Sheen was originally chosen as first five-eighths, but goes to centre because Carleton is suffering from an injured muscle. Johnson takes the first five-eighths' position. The team is a strong one and should put up a good showing. Close Game Expected. There are likely to be six changes in the team which represented the Free State last time the All Blacks met them when New Zealand won by 20 points to nil. This match should be a much closer game.
