Rugby Park is well filled this afternoon, for the annual contest between the first fifteens of the New Plymouth and Hamilton Boys' High Schools. The recent performances of the visiting side are such that a clash with the local team, which has several wins to its credit this season, will prove particularly interesting. Extensive alterations were made to the visiting team. The Teams. The New Plymouth team (blue and white) is as follows; Hayward, Anderson, Watson, Ekdahl, Fooks, Gibbons, Brown, McDonald, Andrews, McNeil, Shaw, Wynyard, Dickie, Thomas and McCallum (rover). Hamilton High School (red and black) lined up as follows: Davies, Westwater, Mills, Skelton, Tassell, Collins, Miller, Bowling, Tombs, Hubbard, Perry, Duxfleld, Troutbeck, Taylor and Innes (rover). Mr. S. A. Mannering is the referee. JUNIOR CURTAIN-RAISER. OLD BOYS DEFEAT CITY. The JunioT curtain-'raiser to the main fixture was City v. Old Boys A. City gained an unconverted try in the flrst spell, and after the interval Old Boys went over for a try. Bonham touched down again for Old Boys shortly after. The kick failed. Before the game ended Bonham had secured another try, but City retaliated .with a converted 'try. Old Boys got over again just before the whistle went, leaving the final scores: Old Boys 12 City 8
