Keesing rode Abbey Day when she won the Hack Cup at Taumarunui this season. The favourite, Alonsoa, was not placed. "Wager," Hamilton. —Royal Box and Rapine were the horses Roy Reed rode to victory in successive years 'in the Great Northern St. Leger Stakes. _____
