SUNSHINE LEAGUE.
The Sunshine League have made an urgent appeal to the people of Hamilton and districts for clean boo Tis of any description for the patients in the Hospital. Surely there are a few books in many homes that could be given to the patients, such as hard-backed magazines or illustrated papers. The children will most likely to have story books and comic papers they could give to the little sick children. In isolation there are seventeen children and thirty-eight in the Sunshine Ward. How lovely it would be if they had nice story books and pictures to read and look at. : Some of the patients have been in the hospital for months, and the country children can only have their parents sometimes only once a week to visit them.. Think what books are to these wee children. Any donations would be greatly appreciated by the League, and could either be put in the bins at Frankton or in front: of the Hamilton Library, or left at Dowry's, Victoria Street, Miss" Ireland, stationer, Hamilton East, Mr Reeves, stationer, Frankton, or if necessary, ring 2305, and they will be called fori."-
