SUCCESSFUL EVENING,

HORSHAM DOWNS FARMERS' UNjON

A very enjoyable evening was spent at the Horsham Down's' Hall,When " the Horsham Downs Branch of the Farmers' Union held its annual co>> cert and ball. Despite the wet and cold night, a very large crowd -attended. Every item; was : enthusiastically encored. ■-.-, ~,v. Mr' R. Blackic's comic songs were very much ; appreciated, and he. was., recalled three times. -Miss Laurenson's dancing Was very picturesque, and clever, and the audience enjoyed her immensely.
