COMBINED BREEDERS' SALE. Attention is drawn to the forthcoming combined breeders' sale of pedigree female cattle and pigs, to be held at (Uaudelands Showgrounds on Wednesday, May 30, commencing at 9.30 a.m. The cattle section consists largely of in-calf and yearling heifers, although a number of first-class cows have been entered. Taking the entry as a whole, the sale affords a great opportunity for buyers to Oil their requirements, as a perusal of the catalogue reveals that many of the best strains in the Dominion are strongly represented. Special attention is drawn to the yearling section, which consists of approximately fifty entries. These are a choice lot, and with the butter-fat

backing that many of them can boast of, together with their individual type and quality, afford an unprecedented opportunity to those desirous of laying the foundation for a pedigree herd. Many of the province's leading studs are represented, and likely buyers are strongly recommended to write for a catalogue and learn for themselves the quality of the stock to be offered. Many outstanding breeders are represented in the pig section, imported blood being the outstanding feature of the offering. Male and female are well represented in each and every breed, and with the show records that many of their ancestors can boast of cannot but be one of the finest selections of pigs that has been placed before the public in the Waikato.
