The Euripides lias been delayed, and the AH Blacks will go to Capetown by train on Monday morning. They have undertaken to fulfil the engagement on May 30 against the Western Province country clubs. The South African Rugby Board offered to provide a special train, but owing to the enormous cost the manager, Mr W. F. Ilornig, declined the offer’. The team will travel by an ordinary train. This refusal has created the best impression. The New Zealand Rugby Union has received a cablegram lrom Mr \\. F. Ilornig, manager of the New Zealand team which reached South Africa this week, staling that the players are all fit and that the learn had received a wonderful reception at Durban.
