Raymond Strong, aged 33, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to charges of breaking and entering and theft from two shops of goods valued at £25. lie stated that John Arthur Crawford, aged 37, charged with receiving in connection with ids offence, had no knowledge of the robberies, lie admitted that be hired a taxi to remove the stolen goods. Having no money, lie presented the driver with a packet of cigarettes and a tobacco' pouch from the stolen property. Strong was committed for sentence and Crawford was remanded for a report by the probation ollicer.
