POOR PRICES REALISED. Bidding on most of the stock offered was on the dead side, more than half the offering being passed in. The sale realised 4ilgns, an average of J 9 1-7gns per head. Of the 24 cows catalogued only 13 went to the hammer. The average price realised for those sold was a little over 20gns. Eight of the 27 heifers only were sold, at an average price of 18 3-sgns. Of the eight bulls offered none was knocked down, the bidding failing to meet with the approval of the vendors. The prices realised were: — Cows. Woodside Regina—W. T. Luxton, Puketaha, 2figns.
