MR W. GOODFELLOW.

OFFERS RESIGNATION. FROM DAIRY BOARD. DISPUTE WITH CHAIRMAN. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A conflict of opinion with the chairman, Mr W. Grounds, resulted in the resignation of Mr W. Goodfellow from the Dairy Produce Board during the course of the board's monthly meeting in Wellington to-day. Exception to statements made by Mr Grouods in his review in the last edition of the official organ of the hoard, The Exporter, was taken by Mr Goodfellow, who asked thaL the chairman's review in future he submitted to a publications committee of the board before appearing in print. Mr Grounds refused to agree to this course, whereupon Mr Goodfellow tendered his resignation as a member of the board, and withdrew from the meeting. Mr Goodfellow has been a member of the Dairy Produce Board ever since its inception in 1921.
