AUCKLAND REP GAMES. » AUCKLAND, Thursday. The management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union decided last evening to issue a challenge for the Ranfurly Shield against all unions, to be played this season, conditionally upon such unions holding the shield. The match committee of the union reported that the following was a com-plete-list 'of engagements for Auckland representative teams during the season:— June 4, Waikato, at Hamilton; June 30, Waikato, at Auckland; July 21, Thames, at Auckland; August 1, Wairarapa, at Wairarapa; August 4, Bay of Plenty, at Auckland; August 4, Canterbury, at Christchurch; August 8, South Canterbury, at Timaru; August 11, Otago, at Dunedin; August 15, Southland, at Invercargill; August 18, Wellington, at Wellington; August 25, New South Wales, at Auckland; September 1, North Auckland, at Auckland; September 8, Wanganui, at Auckland; September B.—Northern Wairoa, at Auckland; September 15, Thames Valley, at Auckland; September 15, Hawke’s Bay, at Napier; September 22, Taranaki; at Auckland. It was decided to suggest to the Thames Union that the return match at Thames be played on September 1. NEW SOUTH WALES VISIT. SCHEDULE ALTERED. : (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Some alterations have been made in the itinerary of the New South Wales Rugby team. The match at Dunedin [on September 8 will be the second test and that at Christchurch on September 15, which was to have been the second test, will now be the third test.
