In the hard courts tennis championships, in the ilrst round of the doubles Tooralva (Chile) and Edouard Borotra defeated J. Peacock (New Zealand) and Guillemot (France), 6—J, 6 —i, G—3. Borolra played most brilliant strokes, recalling those of his famous brother.
