DISHONEST TINKER.
BREAKS INTO MANY . HOMES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. In the Magistrate's Court to-day Henry Patrick Moore, aged 38, plcad'ed guilty to eight charges of breaking and entering and theft. The police said accused had travelled round as a tinker. To gain entrance he broke the leadlights over doors or windows and then loosed the catch. In all he had taken £IOO worth of goods and jewellery from eight houses. He was caught in the act at a Sydenham house. Moore was committed for sentence. No bail was applied for.
