RUGBY UNION DANCE.
A RAGLAN FUNCTION. The Raglan Rugby Union held s. danoe in the Memorial Hall on Wednesday, May 16, when visitors from all parts of, the district were present and spent an enjoyable evening. A delicious supper was provided, and music was supplied by Messrs G. Dent (piano), and Armour (violin). Mr C Sutton was M.C.
Oxford women have scored another triumph. A prize for the best novel by an undergraduate of Oxford or Cambridge was won by Miss Du Coudray, of Oxford. The judges were unaware that the winner was a woman until they had awarded the prize. * * * » "What a girl likes about a young man is usually what her mother doesn't.
