Notice is- hereby given that' at a Special Meeting of the WaikatO County Council held on 17th day of April, 1928, the following resolutions were passed:— i. That in pursuance of the provisions of Section 131 of the Counties Act, 1020, the Waikato County Council hereby declares that Ihc' roads, coloured orange on the Waikato County lithograph maps marked "A '' and " B '•' be Main Roads. 2. That in pursuance of the provisions of Section 22 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1920, Die Waikato County Council hereby resolves that the annual amount of interest and sinking fund pledged as security on a loan of £3OO, for the Kainui No. 3 Special Rating District, be paid out of the funds of the Taupiri Riding. That at a Special Meeting of the Waikato County Council held on l:ie Bth day of May, 1928, the following resolution was passed:— 3. That in pursuance of the provisions of Section 22 of th? .Local Bodies' Loans Act. 1926, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves that the annual amount of interest and sinking fund pledged as security on a Loan of £BOO, for the Waerenga No. 2 Special Rating District, be paid out of the funds of the Whangamarino Riding.

The above resolutions will be sunmilled for confirmation at the ordinary monthly meeting of the said Council to be held on TUESDAY, Vr.c 12th day of June, 1928, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, at, the office of the said Council, Hamilton East. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council will be held in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall, Hamilton, at 7.30 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, the 13th day of June, 1928, for the purpose of confirming a resolution passed by way of special order at a special meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council held on the 9th day of May. 1928, making a By-law to bo known as I lie Hamilton Borough By-law No. 9 and to fix the date when such By-law shall come into force'. The object and purport of the said By-law is as follows: 1 1. To repeal Part XXI. of By-law No. 1 and Sections 89 and 90 of By-law No* i. 2. Regulating the storage of dangerous goods in the Borough and providing for (he licensing of premises for the storage of dangerous goods and Ihc fees payable for such licenses. 3. Fixing the charges for the extraordinary supply of water. 9. Amending Section 314 of Bylaw No. 1. 10. Regulating the driving of loose cattle or horses in Macroa Street and across the bridge in Maeroa Street. 11. Amending Section 209 of By-law No. 1. 12. Amending Sections 91 and 92 of By-law No. 1. 13. Prohibiting the over-loading of motor omnibuses. 1-i. Prohibiting the display of advertising signs on public buildings, bridges, Jamp-posts or pavements. Ij. Prohibiting the display of advertising signs visible from any street or public place without the consent of the Council. 10. Regulating the speed of motor vehicles within the Borough. 17. Providing for the prevention of cattle and horses wandering at large upon streets or public places. m 18. Repealing Section 120 of By-law No. 1.
