ALLEGED DANGEROUS DRIVING. Charges against Frederick L. Woodrich, farmer, of Te Kowhai, of dangerous and negligent, driving were dismissed in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court I his morning, before Mr F. \V. Plaits, S.M. "

II was stated by Ihe police that defendant had endeavoured to turn around in Victoria Street, and in doing

so collided with a car proceeding down the street in Ihe direction of the, post, office. The defendant, it was alleged, failed In keep a proper lookout, and did not signal his intention of turning.

Evidence for the defence slated that the defendant had given the necessary signal to turn and thought.that he had done everything possible to avoid the collision. The other car could have passed easily had the driver swerved over to his left.

His Worship was of opinion that no blame was attachable to defendant, and dismissed both charges.
