FRENCH ELECTIONS
POINCARE’S POPULARITY. BIG MAJORITY PREDICTED. (Australian Press Association.) PARS, April 21. All France will go to the poll on Sunday. A majority of the candidates are shielding themselves under M. Poincare's umbrella; indeed the Prime Minister is said to fear too large a majority. Experienced calculators expect that M. Poincare will have about--140 over all other parties in the new Chamber.
