STRUCK BY TRAIN.
NOT EXPECTED TO RECOVER. INVERCARGILL, Sunday. A married man, Frederick Ross, aged 43 years, was taken to the Southland Hospital in an unconscious state through being run Into by a train at Morton Mains last evening, when lie was returning from Invercargill on a jigger. He is not expected to recover. DIES IN THE HOSPITAL. INVERCARGILL, Monday. Frederick Ross, surfaceman, married, aged 43, who was struck by a train on Saturday night while proceeding home on a jigger, died in Ihc hospital with a fractured skull.
