HAMILTON GUN CLUB.
SHOOT ON SATURDAY. VICTORY OVER THAMES. The Hamilton Gun Club held $ shoot on Saturday afternoon, when a team from the Thames Club visited Hamilton to shoot for the Drysdale Cup. There was a large attendance ■of shooters and supporters, and a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. No. 1 Shoot, 6 birds, 19 entries, was divided by G. Seddon, J. McMiken, 11. Earle (Hamilton Club) an Dr Liggins (Thames), the four shooting the possible. No. 2 Shoot, 7 birds, 19 entries, resulted in W. ,T. McMiken, J. Amundsen (Hamilton), W. R. Smith and B. Smith (Thames) winning, all shooting the possible. The Drysdale Cup, teams match. 8 a side, 10 shots, all off the 13 yards mark, resulted in a win for the holders, the scores being Hamilton 70, Thames 64. For Hamilton C. Seddon shot 10; J. McMjken, J. Amundsen, S. Parlour, W. Woolven, 9 each. For Thames Dr Liggins shot 10, S. Sparke, F. Miller, and W. R. Smith 9. No. 4 Shoot, 7 birds, 19 entries. H. Earle, C. Seddon, S. Parlour, J. Amundsen (Hamilton) and W. B_ Smith (Thames), shot the possible and divided. The Quail Drive was won by "W. Smith, B. Smith (Thames) and J. Amundsen with 5 hits out of 6. The interest of shooters is now. centred on the North Island Championship which will take place M Hamilton during .Tune.
