ROTORUA WOMEN'S TOURNEY. MISS UPHAM WINS CHAMPIONSHIP ROTORUA, Friday. In the Rotorua golf tournament, the final in the championship was played between Miss Upturn, Mirimar, Wellington, and Miss M. Payton, of Rotorua. In the opening play, Miss Upharn was the better, but then Miss Payton struck form, and at the 11th hole the match was all square. At the 13th Miss Upham was one up. The game was very keen at this stage. At the 16th hole Miss Upham won by 3 up and 2 to play. The winner was last year's champion. Mrs Hall presented the various prizes.
