THE WAIKATO CLUB.
AUTUMN MEETING AT TE RAPA. THE FIRST DAY'S ACCEPTANCES TO CLOSE OX MONDAY BY 5 P.M. On Saturday next, April 2$ the Waikato Racing Club will open its Autumn meeting at Te Rapa and the fixture will he concluded on the following Monday, April 30. Big fields have heen weighted for the events on the opening day and the starters in the various races promise to he good in numbers and of the quality to assure keen racing. The course i-s in excellent order and. given fine weather for race days, the public can be expected to extend prominent, support to the local fixture, for which special train arrangements have been made. It is important for owners and trainers to note that acceptances for the first day's racing will close on Monday next, at 5 p.m., with the secretary (Mr E. 11. O'Meara), at Hamilton, or with Messrs Blomfield and Co., Auckland.
