GARDEN PARTY.

HAPPY TIME AT GORDONTON. A very successful garden party was given to Miss Orton Whittaker by Mrs. A. G. Bell. The party, which was held at " Fasque," the beautiful home and grounds of Mrs. Wm. Thomson, was attended by a very large number of guests. Tennis and other games and competitions were much enjoyed by those present. Dean Barnett, in asking Miss .Whitlaker to accept numerous presents and a cheque from the residents, referred to the guests from near and far with their many presents, illustrating the popularity of the recipient..

Mr. 11. Whittaker. father of the guest, of honor, feelincly replied ond thanked all present for their good wishes.

The. singing of " For She's A Jolly flood Fellow" ended a most, enjoyable afternoon.
