The second day of the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s race meeting was held in fine weather. There was a good attebdance. Details of the racing are as follow: —
EPSOM HANDICAP. Of £140; 1 mile. 2 COOL CARD, 9.4 1 3 HUIKAI, 9.3 2 1 SINGLETON, 8.3 3 Also started: Princess Nata, 7.12. Won by a length, with four lengths between second and third. Time lrn 41s.
SECOND HURDLES HANDICAP. Of £l4O, 1| miles. 3 COMEDY PRINCE, 10.6 1 2 ROYAL HEATHER, 11.3 2 1 GARZON, 12.4 3 Also started: Highway 11.4, Won by 2% lengths, with eight lengths between second and third. Time 2m 45 4-ss.

SECOND DAY’S RACING. BEAUTY LIGHT WINS HURDLES. (Special to Times.) DUNEDIN, Saturday. The weather was fine for the second day of the Dunedn race meeting and the track in fine order after overnight rain. The attendance was good.
