DESTRUCTIVE FIRES
DWELLINGS DESTROYED. HUNTLY, Monday. A five-roomed dwelling in Hakanoa Street, Huntly, owned and occupied by Mr Geo. Hillman, was destroyed by fire between 2 and 3 a.m. to-day. Aroused by the sihcll of smoke, the occupants had a narrow escape. The dwelling was insured for £350 and the furniture for £2OO in the Norwich Union Office. WAIIII, Monday. A four-roomed dwelling in Albert Street, owned by Mr F. M. Zenovitch, and occupied by Mr N. Mudgway, together with the contents, was destroyed by fire to-day. The occupants had only time to escape through the window in scant attire. i . . . ~ The building was insured in the Office for £IOO, but there was no insurance on the furniture.
