WAIKATO DIOCESE.
CATHEDRAL CHAPTER.
SPECIAL HAMILTON MEETING. There was a special meeting of the full cathedral chapter of St. Peter’s at Hamilton last night, Bishop Chcrringibn presiding. Others present were Dean Barnett, Archdeacon F. G. Evans, Canons Kcmpthorne, .T. A. Kay]], G. If. Gavin and F. G. llarvic; minor canons H. G. Sell, S. I;. Warcing; lay members Messrs H. I. Foster, >v. G. Pountney, 11. M. Hammond, A. Woodward, F. Hall, R. English and li. C. Norris (chancellor.) The principal business of the meeting was the formulation of special draft statutes and regulations in connection with the meetings of the chapter.
Sketch plans of the cathedral as it is hoped to have it completed were discussed, and approval was expressed of the plans submitted. This morning the Standing Committee of the Waikato Diocese met in camera at Hamilton.
