Referring to the Government s attitude on the matter, he said. “ It stands to reason that simplicity in the transmission and reception of news will render obsolete about £35,000,000 w'orth of telegraphic apparatus. The Postmaster-General told you a year ago that he would let you know how he could assist you in the matter, hut that information has not yet been received.”
