WINTER SHOW SIDESHOWS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Kindly allow me to slightly correct your report in issue of 28th instant, of my reply to opponents of the particular resolution then under discussion at the annual meeting of the association. I did not characterise Mr Snell’s criticism of me as “rot.” Mr Snell or anyone else is at liberty to criticise my actions as much as he pleases—but what I described as “rot” was .Mr Snell’s expressed idea that members of the association have no right to attend an annual meeting and express an opinion on any matter dealt with by the association. An entirely mistaken idea on Mr Snell’s part, and one which he apparently would confine only to Waikato Winter Show Association membership.— I am, etc., E. J. DAVEY. Hamilton, 29/10/27.
