ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
MOTOR COLLISION. MATAMATA, Friday. A collision occurred last night, on a hill near Kir Beeby’s farm, Uinuera, Te Poi road, between a motor-car driven by Mr McKay, of Matamala, and one driven by Mr Loforth, an employee on Mr Ivan Black’s farm, Uinuera. Mr Loforth, who was accompanied by two passengers, was ascending the hill when the impact look place. Mr McKay was injured about the head and face, and one of his passengers. suffered from shock. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
