TROTTING HEADQUARTERS.
APPROVAL EXPRESSED. During the week there was a visitor to Hamilton, in the person of (Vip C. IVI. Ollivier, of Christchurch, well known in connection! with trotting and a member of the controlling organisation of the sport in the Dominion. While here IWr Ollivier, in company with the president (Mr R. T. Reid), inspected the headquarters of the Waikato Trotting Club at Claudelands. (Vir Ollivier was particularly well pleased with the track and the lay-out of th© grounds, buildings and appointments in general. It is gratifying to have the favourable opinion of an authority on the satisfaction that has been extended under the bold and progressive policy which the local club has undertaken to meet the rapidly expanding needs of the light harness sport.
