THE CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN

A JUNIOR’S IMPRESSIONS. (By Beverly McCracken, 11 years, Hamilton.) Beautiful hands are they that do Deeds that are noble, good and true. The beautiful motto above tells one how Peter Pan and his Circle members are endeavouring to bring sunshine into, the lives of the patients in the Sunshine Ward and the orphans in “The Nest.” Inspired by this brilliant idea, Peter Pan decided to put it into action. At his request a large number of parcels were contributed by Circle members, the result being a visit to the Sunshine Ward and “The Nest” last Christmas.

Left to thought, one pictures those enraptured children receiving gifts from red-robed Santa Claus, and the joy of opening those glorious surprises. When one thinks of the happiness one’s sacrifice will give to some other person, I am sure one will readily help this excellent cause.

So as weeks go on towards Christmas I hope Peter Pan’s office will be turned into a storeroom for gifts for the Christmas Cheer Campaign, and t hope sincerely that on Christmas Day the faces at both the Sunshine Ward and “The Nest” will smile with joy and the throats laugh with happiness.
