i S. AUCKLAND TOURNAMENT OCTOBER 18, 14, AND 15. The South Auckland golf tournament will be held by the Hamilton Golf Club on the St. Andrews coarse on October 13. 4 4 and 15. On Thursday, October 13, there will be 18-hole Stroke Handicap in the morning, while there will be a similar competition in the afternoon. The first sixteen, without handicap, in these events will play off the South Auckland Championship (18 holes match play, 18 holes in final). The player who, being a full member of any of the South Auckland golf clubs, returns the best medal score without handicap in the first and second Stroke Handicaps will win the Waikato Championship, The second sixteen, without handicap, will play off the St. Andrews match on the same conditions as the South Auckland Championship, with the final of 18 holes. The first round of the South Auckland Championship and the first round of St. Andrews match will be played on Friday morning, October 18, in addition to 18 holes Medal Handicap. The second round of these events and 18 holes bogey will be played in the afternoon.

On Saturday morning, October i 5, the semi-finals of the-South Auckland and the St. Andrews and 18 holes medal will be. played, while the final of the championship and the final of the St. Andrews match and a pairs best ball bogey handicap will be decided in the afternoon.

Entries will close with the tournament secretary, Mr T. Simpson, by Monday next.
