WAJKATO AND RAGLAN SEATS. CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday. When approached on the matter this morning Mr Fisher admitted that Mr Rcid had not been consulted. A meeting of the Reform League Committee would be held shortly when, in all probability, Mr Rcid would be asked to stand for Raglan and Mr. A. M. Samuel for Waikato. There was a general desire in this direction among Reformers in the electorates. MR A. M .SAMUEL'S POSITION. WILL CONTEST HAURAKI. (Special Parliamentary Reporter.) PRESS GALLERY, Tuesday. Mr A. M. Samuel informed your representative to-day that he had definitely announced on more than one occasion that he would contest the new Hauraki electorate at the general elections next year, and that nothing had arisen to cause him to alter his decision.
